MAKKAH: The Ministry of Education has given schools permission to suspend examinations at their own discretion should weather conditions worsen and to make up missed days at a suitable later date. Muhammad Al-Dukhaini, spokesman for the ministry, told Okaz/Saudi Gazette that “complete authority has been passed to schools to take the decision”. “They can suspend or cancel examinations depending on the weather conditions in their own particular regions,” he said.
