QARIYAT: Police are investigating the death of a housemaid whose body was taken to Al-Qariyat General Hospital by her sponsor Friday. The hospital informed police that the body of a woman in her twenties had been brought to the hospital with burn marks on various areas and signs of old wounds to the head. A spokesman for Al-Jouf Police said that the woman's sponsor had been taken into custody following the hospital's forensic report while the body had been placed in the hospital morgue pending investigation into the incident.
