DAMMAM: The Ministry of Education has put back first term examination start times by 15 minutes in cities and regions hit by cold weather. Examinations will now start from 7:15 AM instead of 7:00 AM as previously scheduled. Abdul Rahman Al-Mudairis, head of the Education Administration in the Eastern Province, asked all schools in the region to inform pupils of the examination start times and that breaks between examinations would be half an hour. The General Education Administration in the region has asked that students from abroad who complete the time granted to them and wish to continue their studies in the Kingdom have their certificates conformed. It has also instructed schools to not allow students from abroad to enter classes or examinations without prior coordination and acceptance from the Examinations Administration and the completion of all necessary procedures.
