JEDDAH: Micah's Pride and Dynamic Keglers emerged as the City Restaurant teams of the week when they exhibited outstanding games with Oca Bernabe guiding the earlier with 701 and Emil Payongayong piloting the latter with 646 that led to a two-week setbacks of Lance & 3rdy during the 5th and 6th sessions of the Filipino Expatriate Damayan Bowling Group Friday Morning Bowling League at the Bowling City here. Micah's Pride started its conquest of Lance & 3rdy on a 1,248-1,119 initial thwart with Bernabe exploding with 265 that smudged Rey Beltran's 210 especially when Jun Estefano made 228. Both teams then showed balance might in the second game wherein Evelyn Santoc outbowled little sister Ester at 231-200 and Ric Reformado bowled better than Bernabe at 203-197. But what decided this close fight in favor of Micah's was the output Ruel Santoc, Ferdie Coloma, Estefano and Ronnie de Castro (805) which outscored that of Beltran, Ed Tuico, Joey Calapatia and Tito Cruz (765) that followed up an 1,199-1,202 upset for Lance & 3rdy. Such disconcertion for their rival, though Cruz served a 263 and Reformado tossed 215 made Micah's more cohesive to go home with perfect 20 points as Coloma, Bernabe and Ruel did their task at 274, 239 and 218 respectively for their 1,310-1,200 last pinch for their 3,760-3,518 total conquest of Lance. Shawly Bowlers shared limelight when Max Salang and Sally Sa?osa turned out the Bowlers of the Week on their 20-0 (3,722-3,555) ransack of Bowlodrome Shark (final armor). Salang totaled scratch of 704 online with 237, 234 and 233 while Sa?osa topped the ladies with 646 from handicapped games of 212, 197 and 237. Dynamic Keglers extended Lance & 3rdy's nightmare with a 1,218-1,172 initial shackling led by Jimmy Aragones who sizzled with 251 clouting the 234 of Reformado. With Tito Cruz (246) working side by side with Reformado (245), Lance & 3rdy succeeded in Game 2 at a close 1,259-1,220 on the parrying of Payongayong (224) and Fully Tabio (218). Sensing triangular offense from Reformado, Beltran and Cruz, Dynamic Keglers transformed their scathe-pain into offense with Tabio and Payongayong turning more productive at 256 and 226. Such entrenchments inspired Aragones, Rene Rom, Nelson Hofer and Eloisa Payongayong to solidly backup their main columns and be triumphant on final tallies of 16-4 (3,639-3,573) including the grueling last game of 1,201-1,142. Winning the Bowlers of the Week honors this 6th session were Rudy Punzalan and Nurissa Ramos. Punzlan totaled 689 (215, 274, 200) in defending Bowling Is Fun against Gulf Oil wherein the latter won convincingly at 16-4 (3,544-3,454) on the offense of TC Marlon Heredia (641), Alex Mallari (641) and Rolly Vistal (606). Ramos with 686 (222, 239, 225) topped the board of Bowlodrome Shark on their 20-0 trash of Johnson & Johnson whose main defender was Gerry Tano with 633 including his 257 hi
