KHURMA: One Bangladeshi man died and another remains in hospital in serious condition after they suffered carbon dioxide poisoning while cleaning out a domestic tank here Wednesday. Sources said that the deceased suffocated from smoke fumes from a water pump, and that Civil Defense rescue officials arrived to find both men still alive but bloated with carbon dioxide and surrounded by petroleum fumes. They managed to extract both men from the site, but one of them died on the way to hospital.
