JEDDAH: No Saudi students were hurt in an explosion at the Karachi University cafeteria Tuesday, the Saudi consul in Karachi said. The blast injured 16 Pakistani students, a Pakistani security source said. The blast occurred in front of the cafeteria. Faleh Al-Ruhaili, the Saudi consul in Karachi, told Okaz/Saudi Gazette that all six Saudis studying at the university had been contacted and accounted for. None of them was in the area at the time of the incident, he said, while urging precaution.
