JEDDAH: Police in Jeddah have arrested an Indonesian maid and held her for questioning over the burial of an unborn child found at the house of her sponsor. It is believed that the woman became pregnant through an illicit relationship. A Saudi man reported to police in the northern district of Al-Salama that the house maid in his employment had suffered a severe hemorrhage and that there were blood trails all over his house. Officers followed the trails to the exterior of the building where they found a hole containing the corpse of the fetus. Police said that the fetus has been taken away for examination and that the woman is being questioned.
