RIYADH: Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) has signed a joint cooperation agreement with Oracle Systems for transfer of knowledge of Oracle's products and deploying them within STC. The Oracle Advanced Customer Services agreement also stipulates conducting on the job training; providing a platform for technical support for all of Oracle's products including customer relationship management (CRM), Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), Human Resources Management Systems(HRMS), E-Commerce trading and other products. The agreement also includes the exchange of expertise in the field of database management and troubleshooting. The deal was signed on behalf STC by Eng. Omar Al Nomany, vice president for Information Technology; and on behalf of Oracle by Eng. Abdulrahman Al Thehaiban, vice president for Middle East & Africa. The agreement will also provide solutions and expertise to meet the unique and advanced IT goals while ensuring a distinct relationship with Oracle Systems, an STC statement said. The agreement will avail advanced technical support services customized for STC as well as proactive solutions for all Oracle applications and technologies (Database, Middleware and Applications), it said. "These customized services will provide proactive and preventative support to all STC businesses, and will primarily focus on operation maintenance and lifecycle management, operations monitoring and management for mission critical business needs, and finally ensure preventative assessments and analysis to continuously anticipate, identify, and remediate system issues," it added.
