PME forecasts rainfall on Red Sea coastal areas Thursday

JEDDAH: The Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) warned Monday of high winds and rain and thunder clouds on coastal areas in the north of the Red Sea over Wednesday and Thursday.
It said it forecast medium to heavy rainfall on Wednesday evening with heavy rainfall Thursday morning over Yanbu and Rabegh.
The statement said it also expected rain and thunder storms to affect the wider Jeddah region on Thursday, with a chance of showers in Makkah, Madina and Tabuk, and urged the public to proceed with caution.
