MIAMI: The West Indies Cricket Board has given its backing to suspended off-spinner Shane Shillingford and said it expects him to bounce back. The International Cricket Council (ICC) ruled Tuesday that Shillingford's bowling action was “illegal” and suspended him from the game until his action was modified. “The WICB has received the report on Shane's action and will consult with experts and formulate a suitable plan of action and hopefully he can continue his international career in the shortest possible time,” West Indies Board CEO Ernest Hilaire said.
