Hilal reinforced its position on top of the standings of the Zain Saudi Professional League after winning 2-0 over visitors Al-Fateh at Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh Sunday. Brazilian midfielder Thiago Neves put Hilal in the lead after 78 minutes before striker Yassir Al-Qahtani increased the lead, six minutes later. The two teams were below par during the first half. After the break, Hilal started launching serious attacks. It was successful when Neves received a pass outside the penalty area. The midfielder kicked strongly into the right corner of Fateh goalkeeper. A few minutes later, Swedish midfielder Christian Wilhelmsson dribbled and entered the danger zone where three defenders surrounded him. Jaber Haqawi made the mistake of bringing down Wilhelmsson. Referee, Mir'ee Awaji did not think twice to point at the spot, where Qahtani was successful to score. Hilal, which has not been defeated so far, is still on top of standings with 31 points. It has two matches in hand. Meanwhile, Fateh still occupies the 10th place with 15 points.
