day student art exhibition at Dar Al-Hekma College will be inaugurated today by Princess Basma Bint Saud Al-Saud. Titled “Room No. 5”, the exhibition is the brainchild of the members of the Creative Art Club at the college. It will be held from Dec. 20 to 22, and will be open to visitors for four hours a day, beginning from 6 P.M. More than a thousand guests and invitees are expected to attend. The first day of the event will be for women while the two other days will be open for everyone, including families. “Room No. 5” will showcase the artistic talent of Dar Al-Hekma College students. As many as 12 students have prepared artwork for display. According to Huda Beydoun, President of the Creative Art Club and head of the exhibition's organizing committee, the event will include fine arts, interior design, fashion design, graphic design and photography. The event was named “Room No. 5” simply because the event combines five art sections. Dar Al-Hekma College recently established the Creative Art Club to allow its students to polish their skills in various disciplines. The college has not yet approved fine arts and fashion design departments for its students. However, students from different specialties in the college can join the club, which is run by individual members. This is a diverse art exhibition, mainly sponsored by a number of national companies, including Nesma Holding, Audi (SAMACO), Athar Gallery, Tala Clinics, Al-Nassir Company, Sarawat Printing, and Teayana.
