MADINA: A woman who received a text message from her husband declaring her “divorced, divorced, divorced”, won a court ruling to officially end their seven-month marriage. Summoned by the General Court in Madina, the man confirmed he had sent the SMS message from his mobile telephone, but claimed he “didn't mean it”, as it was sent after an argument between the couple. The judge, however, ruled that the text constituted a case of irrevocable divorce, and granted the plaintiff her official divorce papers.
