JEDDAH: Malaysia has invited Saudi Arabian investors to tap the potential investments in the country under the new economic model and economic transformation program (Bernama news agency reported Wednesday. Minister of International Trade and Industry, Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, extended the invitation during his meeting with Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal in Riyadh Wednesday. Mustapa is currently leading a trade and investment mission in Riyadh and Jeddah. To date, 10 projects in the manufacturing sector with Saudi participation had been approved with total investment of RM160.1 million. “The projects involved the manufacturing of electrical and electronic products, textiles and textile products, machinery and equipment, food and plastic products,” it said.
