Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Majed Bin Abdul Aziz, the Emir of Madina, has issued directives for support and assistance to be provided to people affected by the floods in some villages and towns of Madina's Al-Ola region. The Emir ordered that roads be repaired and opened and operations carried out to rescue people and secure their properties. The directives were issued after the Civil Defense conducted an aerial inspection of Al-Ola and adjacent areas. The reports called for the rapid transfer of assistance, food and other requirements provided by the Ministry of Finance. Field committees were formed to deliver assistance while rescue teams continued to rescue those stranded.
