Karachi police have registered a case against Balochistan minister Asim Kurd on the charge of murdering caretaker of Balochistan House in Karachi, Fayyaz, a retired army man. Fayyaz was shot dead allegedly by the accomplices of Kurd. The incident was reported to the Gulistan-e-Jauhar Karachi. Superintendent of Police (SP) Sohail Zaffar Chatta said Fayyaz was called to Gulistan-e-Jauhar, where he was killed, ostensibly over some personal enmity. A case was registered against Kurd, Ishtiaq and others on the complaint of Fayyaz's son, Atif. Atif is a clerk at the Balochistan House where his father was a caretaker. A few months ago, Kurd had given Fayyaz two pistols for keeping in his custody. The pistols were, however, lost during the passing months. Consequently, Fayyaz informed Kurd regarding the missing pistols, upon which the minister got angry and started threatening Fayyaz. They also indulged in dispute several times. On the day of murder, Fayyaz received a call and was asked to come to Gulistan-e-Jauhar, where a person, Khadim Hussain, was waiting for him to resolve the issue. Atif alleged that his father went to the spot along with his driver in a car, but he did not see anyone there. Later, his father came out of the car and waited outside for Khadim Hussain. In the meantime, three people along with Khadim Hussain, appeared from the nearby bushes and argued with Fayyaz. Soon, the three unidentified men, carrying weapons, shot at Fayyaz, killing him on the spot. __
