bowler race after the first game, Jett Santos and Alona Antinero did not let the title slip out of their clasp, instead, they bettered their contention till they rolled the last ball in the second game for the honors of the Filipino Expatriate Damayan Bowling Group Hajj Mini All Event Game this year which was graced by Consul Leo Tito Ausan at the Bowling City here. Actually Santos' passed a wavy trek to mastership as after the team event he was just No. 10 with 616. Rudy Punzalan was in front with 678 followed by Joel Nidoy (667) and Ed Sardi?a (665). Marlon Heredia was sixth (652). At the end of the Trio event, Santos climbed to fifth (1,232) and blocking him were Heredia (1,273), Arnel Bautista (1,252), Sardi?a (1,251) and Nidoy (1,234). Two games into the single event, Santos (1,638) was still wedged by Jerry Carredo (1,686) and Voi Ycong (1,648) while Heredia and Nidoy fenced top two post with 1,693 and 1,691. Giving all his might at 222 in the last game, Santos enabled to make it on top three with 1,860 as Nidoy qualified top with 1,893 and Heredia posted second (1,880). In the two-game master event, Santos showed firmness on his track to tie Heredia at 203 after Game 1. Nidoy seemed confused with 168 initial game. Seeing thick boulder to bulldoze, Nidoy began bagging at the start of the second game which Santos readily sensed to respond with equally dreadful blows for successful 440 mastership final score including the 221 endgame. Heredia landed first runner-up and Nidoy settled second runner-up. Antinero's sojourn to fame was a beat easier as she enabled to take the yellow flag as early as the fifth game which Fuly Primo held until fourth set. From there on Antinero guarded the top post with her average games though closely monitoring sudden explosion from nearest pursuers Primo and Malou Nidoy. With expected break through did not come, Antinero top-qualified the ladies division with 1,812, Primo followed with 1,682 and Nidoy held third spot with 1,636. Nearest challenger to the last berth was Christine Esperancilla and Nurissa Ramos with 1,617 apiece. In the Master match, Antinero sustained red-hot hand as she scored 200 while Primo and Nidoy seemed exhausted with 156 and 143.
