member Saudi trade mission, sponsored by the US Commercial Service, US Embassy, Riyadh, traveled to the US Sunday for a four-day visit aimed at building stronger commercial ties between Saudi Arabia and the US. Amer Kayani, counselor for commercial affairs at the US Embassy, Riyadh, is leading the Saudi delegation. The mission is designed for delegates to share practical experiences, knowledge and ideas on the latest power industry trends and challenges facing Saudi Arabia and the US. As part of the visit, Saudi delegates will attend the power industry's leading trade show, Power-Gen in Orlando. The trade show and conference will feature insightful discussions and networking exchanges with the power sector's leading companies. The delegates will have the opportunity to network and exchange views with US experts about the technologies and trends in the power industry's future, including environmental issues, gas turbine technologies, renewable energy.
