Further expansion in Kingdom seen: R&M
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 14 - 12 - 2010

Massari (R&M, www.rdm.com), the Swiss structured cabling specialist, plans to step up its presence in Saudi Arabia in 2011 as a result of the company's remarkable performance in the country this year.
At the event organized for the company's partners and customers in Saudi Arabia, R&M's CEO Martin Reichle said “I'm extremely pleased to recognize our collaborations with our Saudi partners and clients. R&M is proud that we've created such a unique relationship with our partners and clients as they are the foundation of our success.”
The occasion was held during the visit of R&M's CEO Martin Reichle and Jean Pierre Labry, managing director, R&M Middle East and Africa, on Dec. 11-13 in Riyadh.
After the tremendous achievements in 2010, R&M is eagerly and optimistically seeking to continue the trend. Growth in the Saudi market was fueled by a number of successful project completions in important sectors such as health care. R&M recently completed the network infrastructure for King Khaled University Hospital using its innovative Cat 6A shielded pair cabling. R&M also enlarged its Saudi sales force and allocated 20 percent of its total investment for regional expansion to the Middle East and Africa region.
R&M's 2011 plans are ambitious, the company said in a statement. Currently, there are several significant projects in the Saudi market pipeline, and the company also hopes to take advantage of continued investment in the Saudi telecommunications sector to deploy its unique FTTx network product portfolio.
Its recently launched Cat. 6A connector is also becoming an industry benchmark, to meet growing network performance requirements. Overall, the company's entire copper and fiber portfolio are Swiss engineered and compliant to the latest international industry standards such as ISO/IEC.
“2010 has seen several notable developments in the Middle East and Africa such as the regional launch of our Cat. 6A connector along with milestone project completions in key markets such as Saudi Arabia. Our strong performance in the region would not have been possible, however, without the outstanding achievements of our partners and close collaborations with our customers. We look forward to another successful year ahead,” added Reichle.
Supported by local offices throughout the Middle East and Africa, including in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt, R&M structured cabling solutions cater to the growing demand by organizations and enterprises to high speed uninterrupted access to information across their networks.
The company maintains a forward looking strategy of innovation and technology leadership, delivering unsurpassed solutions with high performance and efficiency.
