MAKKAH: British poetess Lucy Hamilton will hold an open poetry evening Thursday on the Internet for an audience in Makkah. Hamilton, who resides in Cambridge in Britain, will recite a collection of several of her poems, which will be translated into Arabic by the poet Adnan Al-Sayigh via the Internet. The evening program will include her experience in writing sonnets. This will be translated by the novelist Ali Al-Majnouni. Discussion between the poetess and her audience in Makkah and the world will be opened at Havana Cultural Café on the Internet.
