Fateh jumped to the ninth place on Zain Saudi Professional League standings after beating visitors Al-Qadisiyah 1-0 in Al-Khobar Thursday. The league resumed after a month-long break and also saw Al-Shabab share honors with Al-Ra'id, while Al-Faisali beat visitors Al-Wehdah 1-0. In Al-Khobar defender Badr Al-Nakhli handed his team the winning goal 12 minutes after the break. The win lifted Fateh four spots from 13th to 9th on 14 points. It can further increase its standing as it still has a match in hand. Qadisiyah, on the other hand, slipped down to the 11th spot with its 12 points in its bag and a match in hand. In another match Al-Shabab shared four goals with its host Al-Ra'id at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Buraidah. Striker Faisal Al-Sultan put the visitors in the lead after seven minutes with his teammate Abdu Ottaif doubling the lead 11 minutes later. The host team's Moroccan striker, Jawad Akadar, however, pulled one back two minutes into the first half injury time before leveling the scores in the 63rd minute. With three matches in hand, Shabab is 6th on 19 points, while Ra'id is 7th on 18. Al-Faisali beat visitors Al-Wehdah 1-0 in Al-Majma'ah. Croatian midfielder Dario Geretic scored the night's only goal 15 minutes after the break. Wehdah missed the service of its international striker Mohanned Aseeri who missed the match to be close to his sick wife. Faisali is fifth on the standings on 22 points, Wehdah is eighth on 16 points.
