RIYADH: Riyadh Police announced recently the arrest of two Asian brothers, who worked as drivers at a Turkish transportation company, for the smuggling of SR49,500 counterfeit Saudi riyals during the Haj season. The counterfeited money was in SR500 bills. The brothers exploited their jobs, the police said. The fake money was produced outside the Kingdom, said Col. Naser Al-Qahtani, spokesman for Riyadh Police. The two were arrested at Al-Hudaytha Entry Point, he added.
