JEDDAH: Police have held a number of persons for questioning over the fatal stabbing of a Bangladeshi man in the Ghulail district of Jeddah Saturday. The man's body was found at home with multiple stab wounds to the chest and lower abdomen. A colleague and resident of the same building who informed police of the body has named one possible suspect with whom the deceased reportedly had a long-running feud and who had, police were told, threatened to kill the victim on a previous occasion. Police said Sunday that they were still trying to locate the whereabouts of the named suspect, and have also held for questioning a number of other individuals with connections to the victim. “We have obtained some useful information during initial investigations,” said the spokesman for Jeddah Police. “For the purposes of the investigation we cannot reveal much more at the moment, but the outcome of the investigation will be revealed soon.”
