Faisal MANAMA: Red Bull champion Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal is intensifying his preparations for the 3rd and 4th rounds of Middle East Porsche Cup 2010-2011 to be held Thursday-Friday at Bahrain International racetrack amidst Saudi domination of the championship. Abdul Aziz faces a tough challenge while defending his crown, which he claimed last season winning 9 of the total 12 races. His Bahraini rival Sheikh Salman Bin Rashid Al-Khalifa has already shown Abdul Aziz that he is serious about the challenge with his showing in the first round. Abdul Aziz, however, bounced back in the second round. Abdul Aziz, whose sponsor is Mobil 1, faces tremendous pressure from Gulf competitors who want to end Saudi domination. UAE driver Khalid Al-Qubaisi also aspires to have podium finish here after having received intensive training in Europe last summer and has returned as a mature and confident driver. From Bahrain Porsche Middle East Cup championship will move to Riyadh (Feb. 19–20) before coming back to Manama (Feb. 18–19). The championship will conclude in Abu Dhabi April 8
