JEDDAH: A UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) Environment and Water trade mission will visit Saudi Arabia (Jeddah, Dammam and Riyadh) Jan. 14-19, 2011. The program includes a series of one-to-one meetings and excellent networking opportunities as well as briefings and seminars. The UK Coalition Government Agreement sets out a role for UKTI as a champion for UK businesses that develop and export innovative green low carbon technologies. The mission offers UK companies an exciting opportunity to engage business and promote their low carbon solutions. The mission will then proceed to Bahrain and hold meetings with industry leaders until Jan. 21. British Water, a trade association for the UK water industry supply chain, organized the visits, representing the industry collectively to government, regulators, other institutions, customers and the media.
