TABUK: A Tabuk man held over the death during Eid Al-Adha of the housemaid in his employment has admitted to beating her with an aluminum bar for four consecutive days for “maltreating and hitting his handicapped children”, sources have said. According to the sources, the sponsor said the woman fled his house to a nearby building under construction and suffered injuries from a fall onto building materials. He said he found her at the site and wanted to take her to hospital, but when she refused he took her back to his house and locked her in a room. He subsequently hit her again when she refused to carry out her duties, and he later discovered she had died from injuries, the sources said. Her body was taken to King Khaled Hospital for forensic examination, while the investigation is being conducted by the Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution.
