PHILADELPHIA: James van Riemsdyk snapped a third-period tie with his first goal of the season to complete the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 comeback win over the Montreal Canadiens in the NHL Monday. Claude Giroux and Ville Leino also scored for the Flyers, who trailed 2-0 after the first period. Maxim Lapierre scored twice for Montreal. Lightning 3, Bruins 1: In Tampa, Florida, Steven Stamkos got his NHL-leading 20th goal of the season to help Tampa Bay top Boston. Stamkos, who has a point in 18 of 21 games, had one of Tampa Bay's three goals during the second period that made it 3-0. Dana Tyrell and Teddy Purcell also scored for the Lightning, who have won four in a row. Boston got a third-period goal from Michael Ryder. Rick Nash and Mike Commodore scored for Columbus, off to the best start in franchise history and playing its first game since a record-setting three-game sweep in California. Senators 3, Kings 2: In Ottawa, Alex Kovalev earned his 1,000th career point when he scored on a power play midway through the first period and assisted on Jason Spezza's go-ahead goal in the third to send Ottawa past Los Angeles.
