years ago a young Moroccan man, Mahjoub, tied the knot with his sweetheart Habeeba and promised her that as part of her dowry he would take her for Haj. For five long decades he was unable to do so. This year, he finally fulfilled that promise. Mahjoub, who is in his seventies, said he had not been financially able to do so, but Allah finally granted him the means. The couple left their hometown in Tripoli 20 days ago to perform the holy pilgrimage. They were seen a few days ago under the bridge of the Mashair Train taking a breather before continuing on their way to Arafat. They were on foot and quite happy because Allah had answered their prayers.
