JEDDAH: Over 100 Saudi graduates of the Vocational Industrial institutes, an affiliate of the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, who attended an intensive training course in hair shaving and haircuts are participating in this year's Haj in the “Safe Shaving Program.” Makkah Mayoralty has allocated a special area for the young barbers who are rendering their service to the pilgrims at “Al-Baiya Yard” west of Al-Jamarat Bridge in Mina. Dr. Osama Al-Bar, Mayor of Makkah, inspected the area and was briefed on the organization's program for the employment of the Saudi young men in capacities of barbers. The mayor praised the organization for its good arrangements and the hygienic shaving tools it secured to the young barbers to enable them practice the profession on sound scientific and professional basis.
