LONDON: World champion Sebastien Loeb rounded off a superb season with victory in the British rally Sunday, finishing just over 19 seconds ahead of Petter Solberg. The Citroen driver took control of the race on Saturday and extended their advantage on each of Sunday's four stages to win by 19.1 seconds. It was the Frenchman's eighth victory of the season. Solberg finished second, ahead of Ford's third-placed driver Jari-Matti Latvala but it was Latvala who took second in the overall standings, with Solberg third just two points behind.
