MAKKAH: Families of the Public Security Training City students, who died and were injured in a recent traffic accident, were paid compensation recently by the government. The families of the dead students were paid SR300,000 each and those of the injured students SR100,000 each. Lt. Gen. Sa'eed Al-Qahtani, Director of Public Security handed the checks to the families at the Public Security headquarters in Mina recently in the presence of Col. Mas'oud Faisal Al-Adwani, Assistant Commander of the Haj Security Forces for Administrative Affairs and Organizing Pedestrians and Commander of the Public Security Training City in Makkah Region. The families of the dead and injured students expressed thanks and appreciation for this noble gesture by Prince Naif, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior. Those who died in the accident were Nawaf Sultan Al-Otaibi, Yusuf Hamad Al-Otaibi and Inad Muhammad Al-Otaibi, while Mastoor Saud Al-Otaibi, Yusuf Safar Al-Otaibi and Salah Saud Al-Otaibi sustained various injuries. They had been traveling from the training city to join their families. They had been preparing to carry out certain tasks for the Haj season.
