RIYADH: The Passports Department will remain open throughout the Eid Al-Adha holidays, Director General Salim Al-Bulaihid has said. “The Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and his Assistant for Security Affairs have ordered that all offices of the department remain open, and that they handle urgent cases for Saudis and foreign residents without delay,” he said. Work will continue at the Passports Department and airports, seaports, and land crossings 24 hours a day, he said. “We would ask the public, however, to help us in our work by only bringing genuinely urgent cases that cannot wait,” he said.
