JEDDAH: There will be 14 weekly passenger flights between Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan and seven cargo flights, according to a memorandum of understanding officials from both countries signed Tuesday. The document was signed after General Authority of Civil Aviation officials and their Afghan counterparts met Tuesday at GACA headquarters here to discuss air travel arrangements between the two nations. Capt. Mohammed Ali Jamjoum, GACA's deputy president for Safety and Licensing, and Raz Mohammad Alami, Afghanistan's Acting Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation for Technical Affairs, signed the document.
