45 women have completed a field survey conducted in 64 districts of Madina to observe the socio-economic status of residents prior to issuing urban indexes of the city's population. Dr. Hatim Taha, Director of the Regional Development Directorate and the Secretary-General of Al-Madina Urban Development, said Madina comes on top of the Kingdom's cities to survey the social status of its residents. The city has done it now for the fourth consecutive year. Director of Survey Information, Abdul Rahman Sultan, said the women observed the socio-economic situations of families in the area through random daily visits carried out over the last month. The Field Survey Supervisor, Mohammad Al-Hazm, said 6500 questionaires were distributed, noting that during visits, a number of families in need of aid were discovered and referred to charitable societies. - Okaz __
