Ittifaq slipped to the fourth place of the Saudi Zain Professional League following its 1-2 defeat to host Al-Nasr in an 11th round encounter at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Thursday. Striker Yousof Al-Salem of Ittifaq put his team in the lead three minutes before the break. Nasr striker, Rayyan Bilal, made it on even terms in the 61st minute. However, it was Bilal again who gave Nasr the winning goal, seven minutes later. Nasr is now second on the standings with 20 points while the guest lost the second position for the fourth, with 19 points. At King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Buraidah, last season's champion Al-Hilal thrashed its host Al-Ra'id 4-0, despite reduced to ten men. Defender Osama Hawsawi put Hilal in the lead in the 61st minute before Brazilian midfielder Thiago Nevez scored five minutes later. Nevez increased the Blues lead seven minutes later. However, midfielder Mohammed Al-Shalhoub sealed the guest team's win a minute before close. Ra'id striker, Mousa Al-Shammari failed twice to score from the spot and his team could not exploit the ten-man opponent after Hilal defender was sent off in the 58th minute. With three matches in hand, the winner is third on the list with 19 points; four goals ahead of Ittifaq, which has the same number of points. On the other hand, Ra'id is seventh with 13 points. Elsewhere, Najran whipped its guest, again a ten-man Al-Hazm 4-0 at Al-Okhdoud Club Stadium in Najran city. Jordanian defender Anas Bin Yaseen of Najran gave his team the edge 14 minutes before the break before his teammate striker, Al-Hasan Al-Yami increased the lead for Najran six minutes after the break. Seven minutes later, Congolese striker, Depa Alonga scored a third goal for the host team before Alonga himself sealed Najran win from the spot, following a red card for Hazm defender Sami Al-Basheer. The win lifted Najran from the tenth position to the eighth place with 12 points. However, Hazm remains 14th with only three points and a match in hand.
