Ramadan contest winners take home 4 Traverse 2011
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 28 - 10 - 2010

JEDDAH: Four Chevrolet dealers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have announced the results of their Ramadan competition and have handed over a brand new Chevrolet Traverse crossover to each of four lucky winners.
The four proud owners of the new Chevrolet Traverse crossovers are Najat Ali Al Redha, Ahmad Ali Ahmad Al Habashi, Emad Jamil Abu-Khuloud and Haitham Ibrahim Halawani.
Run in partnership with AAC, UMA, Al Issa and Balubaid dealers, the Chevrolet Gold Tag Promotion takes place in the Kingdom every Ramadan and lasts for the duration of the holy month.
“Together with our dealers, Chevrolet is pleased to announce the four winners of this year's Gold Tag Promotion raffle in the Kingdom,” said Luay Alshurafa, regional brand manager for Chevrolet in the Middle East. Chevrolet Traverse is an expressively styled and well-equipped crossover. Since it entered the market, the Traverse has quickly become one of the most popular crossovers available, and it challenges all the usual names from its segment through its “beautifully safe” approach.
The Traverse is Chevrolet's first entry into the crossover SUV segment and can seat up to eight adults, making it an ideal choice for families, and includes a comprehensive roster of standard and tailored features for optimal driver and passenger comfort and convenience.
The Traverse is available in front-wheel and all-wheel drive formats, and is powered by a 3.6-litre, V6 engine with direct injection that delivers segment-leading output and excellent fuel efficiency.
Capable of generating 288 hp at 6,300 rpm and 366 Nm of torque at 3,400 rpm, the V6 is tremendously capable both on and off the road. It is mated to the advanced Hydra-Matic 6T75 six-speed automatic transmission with clutch-to-clutch shifting.
Packed full of advanced 360-degree safety technology, Chevrolet Traverse actively helps drivers avoid collisions and protects passengers if an accident does occur.
