JEDDAH: The King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue is to hold training courses in countries across the Arab world to meet the “greater need for the international language of dialogue”. “As part of the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Program for the Culture of Dialogue and Peace, which the Kingdom set up with UNESCO, we will be holding training workshops to promote the culture of dialogue, tolerance and moderation in Arab countries,” the Center's secretary general, Faisal Bin Mu'ammar, said. His deputy Fahd Al-Sultan described the Center as having an “extensive and outstanding record in training programs for society” that will “enable it to perform its tasks perfectly in the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Program for the Culture of Dialogue and Peace.” “In collaboration with the UNESCO office in Beirut, the Center carried out a training program in July for 30 men and women from 12 civil-society organizations in Lebanon,” Al-Sultan said.
