JEDDAH: Movenpick Hotels & Resorts has signed the Movenpick Hotel Shanghai in China with King Land Real Estate Ltd, marking the first of a series of developments in the country. The newly built 300-room hotel will open in early 2013. The signing of the Movenpick Hotel Shanghai, China represents a significant step forward in Movenpick Hotels & Resorts' key strategy to penetrate the Chinese Market. The contemporary hotel is located at Jiading District close to Shanghai International Circuit and Kunshan City. The upscale hotel will provide food and beverage offerings to suit all palates, two specialty restaurants. Hotel guests will also enjoy an array of leisure activities, including spa, fitness centre and swimming pool.
