RIYADH: The Embassy of India is organizing a “multi-sector catalogue exhibition” at the premises of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Dababh Street in Riyadh on Saturday, the embassy said in a press statement. The exhibition, India Catex 2010, will open at 10 A.M. The project is launched in collaboration with the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the statement said. The event will be opened jointly by Hussein A. Al-Athel, the chamber's secretary general, and Indian Ambassador Talmiz Ahmad. The exhibition, which will remain open for the public up to 5 P.M., will showcase catalogues, CDs and other publicity materials from Indian companies from various sectors like agriculture and food, animal and poultry feeds, automotive accessories, books and publications, chemicals, construction materials and equipment, fertilizers, electrical products, engineering items, fasteners, valves, furniture, home appliances, IT and telecom products, leather goods, medical and pharmaceutical products, machinery, plants, pumps and motors, rubber and plastic products, sports goods, textiles and garments, water treatment items, welding and workshop equipment, among others. The embassy is sending its invitation to the Saudi business community and interested companies to visit the exhibition.
