DAMMAM: The Ministry of Education has made it mandatory for all private schools in the Kingdom to employ nationals, especially in education supervisor positions which are currently occupied by foreigners. The ministry also urged private schools to abide by the ministry's regulations which stipulate that Saudi candidates should have a minimum qualification of a university degree in the subject which is being supervised, and at least four years' teaching experience in the same subject. The regulations also stipulate that school principals send the names of prospective candidates directly to the education department in the region, with two confidential recommendations, from the principals, on the candidates' talent and teaching aptitude.
