Chiefs of tribes in Khamis Mushayt have succeeded in ending a tribal feud which has raged on for months between Aal-Buamer Aal Muammar, Abieda Qhtan and Aal-Dubar Zuhair Obieda Qahtan. White flags mounted on vehicles symbolized the end of the feud for the people of the two tribes. The feud between the two tribes broke out when Saeed Bin Mahdi Aal Dubara stabbed Fahd Bin Awad Bin Aal Amer several times in the back. The victim was rushed to the hospital and the suspect was taken into custody. That stab ignited the beginning of the feud. The father of the injured demanded SR3 million, a new car, and a dagger to pardon the offender. The chiefs of other tribes intervened and offered the father only SR200,000 and a dagger instead.
