EL ALAMEIN, Alexandria: Saudi driver Sami Al-Shamari and co-driver Abdullah Al-Shamari finished second in T2 category at Pharaons International Cross-Country Rally behind Japanese/French crew of Jun Mistuhashi and Alain Guehennec. Sami Al-Shamari said: “We thank Allah that Bakhashab Isuzu Rally team managed second spot in the T2 category. This success is the result of early preparation and readiness to participate in the rally after winning T2 title in Hail Rally 2010. “This result has encouraged us to participate in this rally next time as well. It is our aim not only to participate but to win,” he said. Isuzu has thus started working towards establishing an international rally team with well-known Saudi rally drivers Sami Al-Shamari and his co-driver Abdullah Al Shamari and Majed Al-Ghamdi. The two Isuzu drivers were fully supported by a technical team under the supervision of team manager Abdulrahman Elhiraki, who directed the team in the Hail Baja Rally Championship 2010 and Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2010 and even in Pharoans Cross-Country Rally. The fifth journey of Pharaons changed all cars on the table: The leaders had an incident after flying over a dune. Nothing bad fortunately, but the regret of having to abandon Pharaons Classic not so far from El-Alamein, before the final stage. The last stage of Pharaons Rally 2010 took competitors from Siwa's bivouac to the podium in El
