6 doctors, 20 nurses to provide medical careJEDDAH: A total of 1,370 pilgrims from Brunei will be coming on Haj this year according to the Saudi Ministry of Haj and the Haj Management Department of Brunei. This includes 677 male and 693 female pilgrims. Brunei's Minister of Health has advised all pilgrims to safeguard their health while in the holy cities. Dr. Haji Athaaillah Bin Haji Abdullah, the head of the delegation, said that six doctors and 20 nurses have been selected to provide medical care for the pilgrims. He said health officers and nurses from the Sultanate will be stationed in Makkah and Madina and have been told to watch over the pilgrims, especially senior citizens. A health clinic has been built for them and 800 kilograms of medicine, medical equipment and sundries have already arrived in Jeddah. The first Haj flight from Brunei this year will arrive on Oct. 22 and will be followed by flights on Oct. 24, 25, 27 and 29.
