Barkadahan Cup 2010 with a come-from-behind win against Shuneez 66-62 at basketball court in Arqa Park here recently. Shuneez, coached by Anthony Alpay, appeared strong early on but Romy Sarvida's Pirelli rallied to seal victory with four points. The second game saw Spartans, coached by Jeric Mangesil, thump Fasial Samar's Diplomat sweets 92-73. Spartans dominated the game from the start and never looked in danger. Earlier the 3rd RBL-Barkadahan Cup 2010 kicked off with a parade by the participating teams displaying their glitzy uniforms. RBL president Romy Gervacio welcomed and congratulated the team managers, coaches and members. He emphasized the main objectives of the tournament and presented awards in the most organized and best in uniform team categories. Pirelli bagged the first prize while KSU Warriors picked up the second one. Teams have been divided into two groups. Group A comprises: The Hunter, Pirelli, Shuneez, FTTX–MBG, Spartans, Diplomat Sweets, The Legends, and Rooyal Warriors. Group B comprises: Ragadan, Giants, Al-Yamamah Bobcats, Outland, KSU Warriors, Guardian Riyadh, RTTC, and Mace.
