JEDDAH: Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) is scheduled to take receipt Friday of its first Airbus-321 plane from the headquarters of Airbus in Hamburg, Germany. This will be in the presence of Engineer Khaled Al-Milhim, Director General of SAA and Dr. Tom Andrews, President of Airbus and its chief executive officer (CEO). Abdullah Bin Mushbib Al-Ajhar, Assistant Director General of SAA for Public Relations, said the Airbus-321 aircraft has a capacity of 165 passengers, with 20 seats in the Business Class and 145 in the Economy Class. He said “Saudia” has signed a contract to purchase 15 planes of this kind, which are considered to be the best in the world. The new plane will arrive at King Abdul Aziz international Airport Friday evening with Al-Milhim and his accompanying delegation on board.
