RIYADH: Prince Bandar Bin Sultan, Secretary General of the National Security Council, arrived in Riyadh Thursday night from abroad. Prince Muqrin Bin Abdul Aziz, Chief of Saudi Intelligence, welcomed Prince Bandar home at the airport. Prince Bandar was also greeted at the airport by Prince Khaled Bin Sultan, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs; Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs; Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Fahd, State Minister and President of the Court of the Presidency of the Cabinet; Prince Faisal Bin Khaled Bin Sultan, Adviser at the Court of the Crown Prince; Prince Salman Bin Sultan, Assistant Secretary General of the National Security Council for Security and Intelligence Affairs. The reception was also attended by more senior princes and staff at the National Security Council. Prince Bandar served as the Saudi ambassador to the United States for 22 years before he was appointed as secretary general of the National Security Council by King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on Oct. 16, 2005.
