JEDDAH: The function of lawyers in the Kingdom's courts is under the spotlight at a meeting between presidents of the Jeddah courts and the Lawyers' Committee of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) on Wednesday Oct. 27. The symposium is being convened by the Regulations Club in the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Jeddah's King Abdulaziz University. Dr. Muhammad Al-Qahtani, Supervisor of the club, said participants at the symposium include Sheikh Rashed Al-Hazza', judicial inspector of the Supreme Judicial Council and former President of the General Court in Jeddah; Sheikh Abdullah Al-Othaim, President of the District Court in Jeddah; Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Nassar, President of the Administrative Court in Jeddah; and Dr. Majed Qaroub, Chairman of the Lawyers' Committee of the JCCI. Al-Qahtani added that the event is part of a series of law symposia on various legal topics and issues.
