AHSA: A woman who died shortly after being admitted to hospital two weeks ago and whose relatives claimed she had committed suicide, was murdered by her younger sister and her 30-year-old boyfriend, police in the Eastern Province have said. The death, which police say occurred after the victim discovered her sister's illicit relationship with the man, immediately aroused suspicions, and investigators set about interrogating members of the family. The body of the deceased was also reexamined. “A specialist team of investigators from Al-Mubarraz questioned relatives and other individuals for two weeks, by the end of which we were able to make formal charges against the sister and her male friend,” said the spokesman for Eastern Province Police. The two suspects, he said, confessed to attacking the victim and forcing her to ingest nail paint before strangling her to death.
