Two-day World Urdu Conference June 6-7

The first two-day ‘Alami (World) Urdu Conference' here on June 6-7 offers a rare opportunity for the Urdu lovers throughout the Kingdom. The Consulate General of India and Maulana Azad National Urdu University are jointly organizing the conference.
The University's Vice Chancellor, Prof. A. M. Pathan will preside over the event. Dr.Ausaf Sayeed, Consul General of India, will inaugurate the session on Friday.
Several local organizations like Bazm-e-Osmania, Bazm-e-Urdu, Jeddah, Anjuman-e-Farogh-e Urdu, Zinda Dilan-e-Jeddah, and Indian Readers Forum will participate in the event.
Urdu Academy will bring out a souvenir to commemorate the occasion. __
