SR700m project's first stage completed Zamzam water has a symbolic and spiritual value for all Muslims, a symbolism with connotations and significance directly related to their lives, whether they are in the Kingdom or elsewhere in the Arab and Muslim Worlds. With that context in mind, we are now seeing the ushering in of a new era in the history of Zamzam water distribution following the Minister of Water and Electricity's launching on Saturday of the Zamzam Water Bottle Distribution Center, part of the huge King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Zamzam Water Project in Makkah. The Zamzam Water Project, first launched towards the end of Ramadan at the expense of King Abdullah himself, is being carried out at a cost of SR700 million, and has already seen the first stage completed. The plans have now reached their operational phase in which they are moving into a stage of greater technological advancement through new technical and administrative processes. The King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Zamzam Water Project is a genuinely vital turning point in the history of Zamzam water and represents a project of purpose and objective through a modern scientific vision. __
